Trail Description: Is a combination of high, irregular ranges of hills interspersed with a number of attractive lakes. Oak forest, thick hedges rows and open spaces blend on the uplands, while grassy marshes, schrub masses and dense swamps are in the lowlands. The horse trails skirt Shanango Lake and offer steep ridges and scenic views. One of the scienic parks in lower Michigan.
Camp ground has many shaded sites. Well maintained, grassy camp with numerous picket posts.
